Cutter knife with 18 mm SK2 high-performance snap-off blade. Extremely high cutting durability thanks to the high carbon content of the SK2 steel blade. The blade can be locked at the desired length in the metal guide with slide lock. The backstop in the guide rail prevents the blade from simply jumping out of the housing when retracting. The blade is burnished, i.e. the blade turns black through a chemical reaction. This process serves as corrosion protection. Material: impact-resistant ABS body with matt rubberized surface, stainless steel blade guide rail. Blade: 18 mm snap-off blade made of SK2 carbon steel, thickness 0.6 mm, Rockwell 62~65 HRC (premium quality grade), corrosion protection by burnishing, max. blade extension 79 mm, 2-sided blade grinding, 7 break-off segments for 8-fold use. Functions: blade change without tools, backstop in the blade guide rail, eyelet for attaching a lanyard or safety strap. Accessories: 2 spare blades in the spare blade compartment.
